Home Sweet Home

Our awesome backyard! I think this is what sold the house to me! Over by the shed is a fire pit. PARTY AT MOFFITT'S HOUSE IN THE SUMMER!!! Then this walkway takes you down and across a little canal. On the other side of the fence is West Jordan High School. We're by the baseball field. Behind us in the picture is a deck with a patio table and the doors to get inside.
This is what the family room looked like with their furniture. Also notice the boring white paint. (It was white in the whole house, and they didn't even do a decent job. . . you could see every roll mark. Greg also painted the ceiling because they did such a bad job. Thanks Greg!)
And this is the family room with our furniture. we painted the walls tan, and finished the French doors. (They had it red, but only did one coat, so you could see white, and all the roller marks) Can you see my Christmas present that we LOVE Jessica?!?
And this is the bedroom. Some things I will point out is that the ceiling is tan and the walls are white, and the ceiling fan has no light. Weird. So they had a lamp by the door to light up the room.
This is the new and improved bedroom! You can't tell, but we did paint the ceiling white. We painted everything else too! We got new carpet. And best of all, Ryan installed a new fan\light combo in the ceiling.
This was the son's room. Wild, eh?
You would never guess it, but this is the same room. Obviously we painted! We also did the carpet, and installed a new ceiling light/fan. It's the office for now, but come August it'll be the baby's room! The question is. . . Pink or blue?! (Not that you care but we did get a new computer screen that's not so honkin' huge.)
Here's the kitchen. Honestly, nothing has changed except for paint and a new fridge.
Here is the kitchen area with our furniture and stuff.
The old bathroom. You can't tell, but there are two sinks, which is the greatest thing ever.
Can you tell that we like red?!
And that is our home! The basement is not finished, but if I'm lucky that will be our next project. The plan is to have two bedrooms, a bathroom, a laundry room, a little salon, and the family room. We'll see how soon that gets done.
